With three offices and 30 staff, we understand that our most important asset is our people. We select experienced and qualified people to join our team, and we commit to developing them by offering regular training.
Ed Evans | Co-founder and Managing Director
Ed has over 20 years' IT experience, most of it in Oil and Gas. Starting out with a Geology degree, Ed collected various qualifications in computer systems analysis before moving into project management. He has expertise in project and service implementation and operation from project management to defining and implementing models for technical application support, data and systems.
In the last two years, Ed has worked with BP, BG Group, ConocoPhillips, Encana and Tullow Oil on a number of key global programmes.
Phil Diamond | Co-founder and Director
Phil has experience in a variety of industries, including trading, manufacturing and pharmaceutical, as well as Oil and Gas. He spent 15 years at Logica in senior consultancy and business management roles before becoming Director of Manufacturing and Logistics Division. Phil then worked for Landmark as Operations Director for the EAME region, where his clients included BP, Shell and Statoil.
As a consultant, Phil has worked with Schlumberger, HIS, British Computer Society (where he is the Professional Membership Assessor), NHS Connecting for Health, and LMKR, Pakistan's largest IT company.
Jonathan Jenkins | Co-founder and Director
Jonathan has a solid Oil and Gas background, having started as a mud logger in Angola before moving on to become a geophysicist in Venezuela and a radar interpreter in Canada. Whilst working for Landmark in Texas, Jonathan helped integrate disparate technologies and became an expert in pushing seismic interpretation to the limit using waveform shaping analysis.
Since returning to the UK, Jonathan has held a number of consulting and account management roles in the Oil and Gas industry, specialising particularly in believable metrics.
Richard Grant | Partner and Practice Manager
Following the first year of a degree in Electronic Engineering Richard saw sense and ended up instead with a BSc in Applied Geology. This move was inspired by a summer internship in Calgary working for Sceptre Resources.
After graduating Richard spent some time in the Archean Greenbelt of Northwestern Ontario, looking for gold. This involved field mapping, core logging, supervising drilling, growing a very large beard, GIS compilations, and a bit of helicopter prospecting.
After returning to the UK, a number of other roles have eventually led him to his current position, as a Partner at NDB Limited, able to combine his passion for computing and technology with first love of geoscience.
From time to time Richard takes a short break to teach Presentation skills courses for those working in the E&P industry.
Andy Gregory | Partner and Principal Consultant
Andy has managed multiple concurrent projects and
delivered consulting services and business analysis for two key
clients whilst at NDB:
1. BG Group (UK)
2. Tullow Oil (UK, Ireland, Bangladesh, Gabon, Uganda, South Africa)
Since late 2012, Andy is now heading up NDB's operations in Perth, Australia.
Glen Burridge | Practice Manager - NDB Advance
Having worked at the sharp end of the business as a geoscientist on Exploration and Production projects in Algeria, India, France and Yemen, Glen now advises technical management on the heart of value and performance improvement in E&P: subsurface interpretation technology, people & workflows, deploying his 14 years of experience and wide-ranging knowledge of the business as a Life of Field workflow expert and subsurface software and integration advisor.
